I did not receive a confirmation e-mail. Why? What should I do?
As on most occasions this is usually down to a problem with your spam filter. Please check your spam folder as this usually seems to solve the problem in the majority of cases. Please also check if you entered your e-mail correctly. If this does not help, please contact us again and we will send you a new confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail when making a booking very close to the time of arrival, our driver will still be there waiting for you (as our automated system will inform the driver).
Do infants count?
Infants and children do count as one person. Under Czech law (and for your safety) we must use special seats for infants and children (ageded from 0 months to 8 years). We strongly recommend that you inform us (just put a comment) when making booking. Children seats are provided free of charge.
When do I pay?
When paying by cash or a credit card, please pay all at once after you arrive at the Hotel. Once you have paid the driver will give you "a transport voucher" which you will then give to the driver on the return journey in lieu of money. If you opt to pay in advance via paypal our driver will be automatically informed so you will not need to do anything else. However, if you really do prefer not to pay all at once there is no problem; you can pay for each trip separately!
Our group is staying at different hotels, do you charge extra for additional drop-off locations?
Two drop-off hotels are included in the price. If you will be going to more than 2 hotels which are very far from each other then we may charge extra (usually 240 CZK), although of course, you will be informed of the exact price in your confirmation e-mail.
What happens if my outbound flight is delayed?
Your driver will be informed and collect you at the new time at no extra charge.
I'm worried about the pick-up you gave me for my airport flight arrival reservation. Why do (and how can) you use my scheduled airline arrival time as my pick-up time?
Your scheduled arrival time (i.e. your airline's assigned time), is only a starting point for us. We track your flight in "real time" so whether your plane is on-time, early or late, we are aware of your flight status ... and will meet you based on the actual gate time. We also use a formula that allows for the time you will probably need at baggage reclaim.
I have a special request (a baby chair, push chair etc.). How do I inform you?
If you require a baby chair, then just make a note when you make your booking. If you are travelling with disabled passengers or need extra space for a pushchair then again, please make a note when making your booking.
Where do we meet our driver? How do we recognize our driver?
Our driver will be holding a very clear card (a banner) with our company logo and the lead passenger name printed on it. Click here for more information and photos.
Can I pay by credit card upon arrival?
Yes, you can. You are also welcome to pay online (in advance) using your credit or debit card. When paying on the spot (after you arrive at Prague) we accept VISA, Master Card, JCB Cards, Amex and Diners Club.
Do you offer transfers for more than 4 passengers?
Of course, we are able to offer transfers for groups up to 300 passengers. If you are travelling in a very large group (over 49 passengers) then please ask for a special discount.
How long does it take from Prague Airport to the city centre?
Usually a journey from the airport to the city centre takes around 25 minutes by car. If there is heavy traffic it may take up to 40 minutes.
Do you guarantee money back, compensation or refunds?
Yes, if we are unable to supply the promised service you will receive your money back or compensation. If there is no driver waiting for you, please contact us ASAP so that we can remedy the situation.
What are your hours of operation?
We provide airport transfers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year - including holidays.
Are your prices per person or per vehicle?
Prices are quoted per vehicle.
Do I need to pay in CZK currency?
No, you can pay also in GBP, USD or EUR.
Should I tip the driver?
If you are happy with the service then it is customary to tip between 5% and 15%. However, it is entirely at your discretion although please bear in mind that even a very small tip will keep your driver extra happy :)
What time will you pick us up on our departure day?
Generally we recommend a pick up time of 2.5 hours before your scheduled departure flight time for NON EU flights and 2 hours for EU flights. However, you are the one who will decide the pick up time!
Can I have a receipt?
Please ask our driver. If you tell us in advance we can also prepare for you a tax invoice (mostly for business and corporate customers).
What if I have huge or extra large luggage?
If you are carrying extra large luggage please let us know in advance as we may have to send a larger car. Generally, there is no extra charge.
Do you offer other transport routes besides airport routes?
We will take you anywhere you like. Please send us an email for an exact price quote.
I need to change a booking - what should I do?
Just follow the link provided in the confirmation e-mail and amend your details or contact us. All free of charge.
Insurance?
Prague Airport Transfers s.r.o. holds full public liability insurance as well as all of our suppliers. We do however recommend that you hold a valid insurance policy for the duration of your trip.
What is your smoking policy?
Non smoking policy.
What happens if I cancel my trip?
You may cancel your booking at any time, please read our terms and conditions.
When can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation as soon as you have your flight number. Our system allows you to make a reservation a maximum of 9 months before your date of travel.
