Karlovy Vary is the most famous spa town in the Czech Republic. Its history goes back to the 14th century, the time of Charles IV. Such celebrities as Russian tsar Peter the Great or world-famous poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe praised the healing effects of the town's local mineral springs. This town is also famous for the production of world-famous Bohemian crystal Moser, for local china production known as Karlovarský porcelán (porcelain of Karlovy Vary) and for the production of a delicious herb spirit called Becherovka.
After the arival you'll visit Moser Glass Factory and then our guide will accompany you for a walk in the town centre. You will see Vřídlo (the Giant Spring) which is the most famous spring in Karlovy Vary. It spews upwards to a height of almost 17 meters. After lunch you can choose from two programme alternatives - you can either enjoy your free time and go for another walk in this beautiful town or you can have a swim in an outdoor swimming pool. If you choose the latter, please do not forget your swimming costumes and towels!
