The city of Karlovy Vary is situated in the western part of the Czech Republic at the junction of two rivers around 120km from Prague. It is the largest and most famous health resort in the Czech Republic. The city has a rich history, founded in the 14th century by Charles IV. But you will be enchanted even by its present image. The city boasts a world-famous health resort, spa and international film festival, and even local products (Becherovka liquor, the Moser Company's glass products).

Programme:

After arrival there is a walk with our guide through the main colonnade, which crosses the whole downtown and is lined with mostly art nouveau bath houses, luxury hotels and healthy wells. Our walk concludes at the Thermal Hotel, famous for the international film festival, where we have a lunch together. After lunch you will be shown your accommodation and given options for how to spend the next day of your stay in Karlovy Vary.

2. A trip to Loket castle

You can spend the afternoon by walking, in a nice coffee house or bathing in the Thermal Hotel swimming pool, which is situated on the rooftop and enjoys a beautiful view of the city.

2nd day: after breakfast in your hotel you have the selected programme, and then you can choose if you prefer an afternoon of shopping or tasting of local mineral water and tasty local produced waffles. The departure to Prague is at 16:00 from the parking lot of the Thermal Hotel.
