Join us for a trip to the glorious Konopište Castle, which was once a formal seat of Habsbourg throne successor František Ferdinand d'Este. This castle, which originated in the 14th century, was bought by F. F. d'Este in 1887. This nobleman used the whole mansion as his family residence until his death in Sarajevo which started World War I. In the castle interior you can see not only Ferdinand's large art collections, numerous statues and pictures on the theme of St. George, but you can also admire one of the world's most extensive collections of historic weapons. A visit to Konopište Castle is an ideal half-day trip that you should certainly not miss!
