Austria's Largest Airport
Vienna International Airport lies in Schwechat, about 18 km south-east of Vienna's city centre. It is Austria's largest airport and the home base of Austrian Airlines, with flights across Europe and beyond. Check-in is spread over more than one terminal, so check which one your airline uses before you travel.
From Prague the road via Brno and Mikulov brings you to the airport in about 3½ hours. Your driver drops you at your terminal and helps with your luggage. Landing in Vienna? Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you to Prague, with short stops on the way free of charge.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.
FAQs: Transfers Between Prague and Vienna Airport
Plan to be at the airport two hours before your flight. The drive takes about 3½ hours, so leave Prague about 5½ hours before departure, and a little earlier in winter or at rush hour.
From Prague Centre it is about 345 km, which usually takes around 3½ hours. From Prague Airport it is about 365 km and around 3 hours 40 minutes. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.
Yes. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. Add your flight number when you book, so your driver knows if you land late. Because the transfer does not start in Prague, you pay for it in full in advance.
No. The airport is in Schwechat, about 18 km south-east of the city centre. If you are going to the city itself, book our transfer between Prague and Vienna instead.
Yes. All our drivers speak English as well as their native Czech, and some speak other languages too. They are happy to talk about local culture, share tips on places of interest and answer your questions.
Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.
Yes to both. Baby seats are required by law, and for your baby’s safety we provide them free of charge.
The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
