Germany's Second-Busiest Airport
Munich Airport lies near Freising, about 30 km north-east of Munich city centre. It is Germany's second-busiest airport and a hub for Lufthansa, with flights all over the world. It has two terminals: Terminal 2 serves Lufthansa and its Star Alliance partners, and Terminal 1 most other airlines, so check yours before you travel.
From Prague the motorway via Plzeň and Regensburg brings you to the airport in about four hours. Your driver drops you at your terminal and helps with your luggage. Landing in Munich? Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you to Prague, with short stops on the way free of charge.

We Offer Three Fares
Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.
FAQs: Transfers Between Prague and Munich Airport
Plan to be at the airport two hours before your flight. The drive takes about four hours, so leave Prague about six hours before departure, and a little earlier in winter or at rush hour.
From Prague Centre it is about 360 km, which usually takes around 3 hours 50 minutes. From Prague Airport it is about 355 km and around 3 hours 35 minutes. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.
Yes. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. Add your flight number when you book, so your driver knows if you land late. Because the transfer does not start in Prague, you pay for it in full in advance.
No. The airport is about 30 km north-east of the city centre. If you are going to the city itself, book our transfer between Prague and Munich instead.
Yes. All our drivers speak English as well as their native Czech, and some speak other languages too. They are happy to talk about local culture, share tips on places of interest and answer your questions.
Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.
Yes to both. Baby seats are required by law, and for your baby’s safety we provide them free of charge.
The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
