A Medieval City on the Danube
Regensburg lies at the northernmost point of the Danube, where the Regen flows into it. It began as a Roman fortress, and part of its gate, the Porta Praetoria, still stands. The old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the best-preserved medieval city centres in Germany, with narrow lanes, tall patrician towers and the Gothic St Peter's Cathedral.
The 12th-century Stone Bridge crosses the river to the Stadtamhof district, and next to it the Historic Sausage Kitchen has grilled sausages for centuries. River cruise ships moor on the Danube here, and Walhalla, a hall of fame built by King Ludwig I, stands on a hill a few kilometres downstream. A private transfer takes you straight to your hotel or ship.

Plzeň, home of Pilsner Urquell beer, lies on the way. Stop to see the main square with St Bartholomew's Cathedral or visit the brewery, and your driver waits while you look around.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

Yes, as close as cars are allowed. Parts of Regensburg's old town are pedestrian zones; if your hotel is in one, your driver stops as near as possible and helps you with your luggage.

Yes. We drive between Prague and Regensburg in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.

For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Yes to both. Baby seats are required by law, and for your baby’s safety we provide them free of charge.
The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
