The Heart of the Chod Region
Domažlice is a historic town in West Bohemia, close to the German border, and the centre of the Chod region. For centuries the Chods guarded this border for the Bohemian kings in return for special rights, and their folk costumes, music and pastries are still part of local life. Every August the town holds the Chod Festival.
The long main square is lined with arcaded houses, and the leaning round tower of the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady gives views over the town. The Chod Castle houses the Museum of the Chod Region. A private transfer brings you from Prague to Domažlice in about two hours, with no changes on the way.

Plzeň, home of the original Pilsner beer and St Bartholomew's Cathedral, lies on the way, about an hour before Domažlice. Add it as a stop and your driver waits while you look around.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

Yes. Plzeň lies on the route, about an hour before Domažlice. Add it as a stop when you book: your driver waits for you, short stops are free, and longer stops have a waiting charge.
Yes. We drive between Prague and Domažlice in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.
Yes. All our drivers speak English as well as their native Czech, and some speak other languages too. They are happy to talk about local culture, share tips on places of interest and answer your questions.
Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
