A Walled Town in East Bohemia
Polička is a small town in East Bohemia, close to the historic border with Moravia. King Ottokar II founded it in 1265, and its town walls, about 1,220 metres long with 19 bastions, are among the best preserved in Central Europe. On the main square stand the Baroque town hall and a tall Marian column, both from the 18th century.
The composer Bohuslav Martinů was born here in 1890, in a small room in the tower of St James's Church. The church was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style after a great fire in 1845, and the room and the tower are open to visitors. Litomyšl and its UNESCO-listed castle are about 20 km away, and a private transfer takes you from Prague Airport to your door in Polička in under 2½ hours.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure?
