A Historic Town of Puppets
Chrudim is one of the oldest towns in East Bohemia, just south of Pardubice. Its old town has the Gothic Church of the Assumption, a Baroque plague column on the main square and fine Renaissance houses. The most striking, the Mydlář House, holds the Museum of Puppetry Cultures, and every year since 1951 the town has hosted Loutkářská Chrudim, a festival of puppet theatre.
Chrudim is also the birthplace of Josef Ressel, a pioneer of the ship's propeller, and its main square bears his name. Just south of the town, Slatiňany Chateau houses a museum about horses, and the wooded Iron Mountains offer quiet walks. Coming for the festival or to visit family? Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

From Prague Centre it is about 130 km, which usually takes around 1½ hours. From Prague Airport it is about 145 km and about 1 hour 50 minutes. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.
Yes. Book your journey back to Prague or Prague Airport together with your transfer to Chrudim and you get 10% off the return trip. Because the return transfer does not start in Prague, it is paid in full in advance.
Yes. We drive between Prague and Chrudim in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.

Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Send us your details and our support team will recommend the best vehicle.
Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.

The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
