A Spa Town on the Elbe
Poděbrady lies on the Elbe, about 50 km east of Prague. It became a spa town after a mineral spring was found here in 1905, and its spa still specialises in heart and circulation treatment. The spa park with its flower clock and fountains, the colonnade and the riverside promenade are all easy to explore on foot.
The castle above the river is linked with George of Poděbrady, King of Bohemia in the 15th century, whose statue on horseback stands on the main square. Stopover Tip
Kutná Hora, with St Barbara's Church and the Sedlec Ossuary, is about 40 minutes from Poděbrady. Add it as a stop on your way and your driver waits while you look around.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

From Prague Centre it is about 60 km, which usually takes around 50 minutes. From Prague Airport it is about 80 km and an hour. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.
Yes. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall at Prague Airport and takes you directly to your school or residence in Poděbrady. If you travel with more than two large suitcases, choose a minivan when you book.
Yes. We drive to every spa hotel in Poděbrady and pick you up again at the end of your stay. Book both journeys together and you get 10% off the return trip.
Yes. We drive between Prague and Poděbrady in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.

For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
