The Gateway to Bohemian Paradise
Turnov lies on the Jizera river in north Bohemia, about 90 km north-east of Prague. It has a long tradition of cutting gemstones and making jewellery, especially with Bohemian garnets, and the Museum of Bohemian Paradise in the town shows this craft. Around Turnov begins Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj), a landscape of sandstone rock towns, forests and castles.
Bohemian Paradise became the first protected landscape area in Czechoslovakia in 1955 and is now a UNESCO Global Geopark. Hrubá Skála Castle stands on top of a rock town a few kilometres from Turnov, and the two towers of Trosky Castle can be seen from far around. Hikers and climbers come for the rocks, so a private transfer with room for boots and backpacks is an easy start.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

Yes. We drive between Prague and Turnov in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.

Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
