A Historic City on the Warta
Poznań lies on the Warta river in western Poland, roughly halfway between Berlin and Warsaw. It is one of the oldest cities in the country: on the island of Ostrów Tumski stands Poznań Cathedral, the oldest in Poland, linked with the first rulers of the Polish state. Today Poznań is a lively university city and an important centre for trade fairs.
The heart of the city is the Old Market Square, with colourful merchants' houses and a Renaissance town hall. Every day at noon, two mechanical goats appear above its clock and butt heads, a sight that draws crowds. Poznań is also famous for St Martin's croissants, filled with white poppy seeds. Heading to a fair or a meeting? A private car takes you straight to the door.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

From Prague Centre it is about 430 km, which usually takes around 5¼ hours without stops. From Prague Airport it is about 440 km and around 5½ hours. Short stops for a break on the way are free.
Yes. The Poznań International Fair grounds are in the city centre, close to the main railway station. Your driver takes you to the fair, your hotel or any other address in Poznań.
Yes. We drive between Prague and Poznań in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.
Yes. All our drivers speak English as well as their native Czech, and some speak other languages too. They are happy to talk about local culture, share tips on places of interest and answer your questions.
Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.
Yes to both. Baby seats are required by law, and for your baby’s safety we provide them free of charge.
The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
