A Town on the Ploučnice
Česká Lípa is a district town on the river Ploučnice in northern Bohemia, between the sandstone country of Kokořínsko and the Lusatian Mountains. Its sights include the medieval water castle Lipý, the Red Court (Červený dvůr) chateau and the former Augustinian monastery, which now houses the regional museum and gallery. The town centre around the main square is compact and easy to explore on foot.
The countryside around the town is popular for holidays. Lake Mácha (Máchovo jezero) at Doksy, about 15 km to the south, has sandy beaches and summer resorts, and the Gothic castle of Bezděz stands on a steep hill nearby. Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

From Prague Airport it is about 80 km, which usually takes about an hour. From Prague Centre it is about 110 km and around 1½ hours. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.
Yes. We drive to any hotel, holiday home or campsite at Lake Mácha and in Doksy. Just enter the exact address when you book.
Yes. We drive between Prague and Česká Lípa in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.
Yes. All our drivers speak English as well as their native Czech, and some speak other languages too. They are happy to talk about local culture, share tips on places of interest and answer your questions.
Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.
Yes to both. Baby seats are required by law, and for your baby’s safety we provide them free of charge.
The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
