The Town of Towers on the Spree
Bautzen is a town of more than a thousand years on the Spree in Upper Lusatia, east of Dresden. Its old town stands on a rock above the river, and its many towers have given it the nickname Town of Towers. Bautzen is also the cultural centre of the Sorbs, a Slavic minority with their own language, so many signs are in both German and Sorbian.
St Peter's Cathedral has been shared by Catholics and Protestants since the 16th century. You can also visit the Ortenburg castle with the Sorbian Museum, the Old Waterworks tower and the Bautzen Memorial in a former Stasi prison. The town is famous for its mustard, too. A private transfer takes you straight to your hotel, with no changes on the way.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.

From Prague Centre it is about 185 km, which usually takes around 2 hours 20 minutes. From Prague Airport it is about 195 km and about 2 hours 30 minutes. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.

For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.

The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
