Germany's Busiest Airport
Frankfurt Airport lies about 12 km south-west of Frankfurt city centre. It is Germany's busiest airport and Lufthansa's main hub, with flights all over the world. It is a large airport with more than one terminal, and Lufthansa and its Star Alliance partners mostly use Terminal 1, so check your terminal before you travel.
From Prague the motorway via Plzeň, Nuremberg and Würzburg brings you to the airport in about five hours. Your driver drops you at your terminal and helps with your luggage. Landing in Frankfurt? Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you to Prague, with short stops on the way free of charge.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.
FAQs: Transfers Between Prague and Frankfurt Airport
Plan to be at the airport two hours before your flight. The drive takes about five hours, so leave Prague about seven hours before departure, and a little earlier in winter or at rush hour.
From Prague Centre it is about 515 km, which usually takes around 5 hours 20 minutes. From Prague Airport it is also about 515 km and around 4 hours 45 minutes. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.
Yes. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. Add your flight number when you book, so your driver knows if you land late. Because the transfer does not start in Prague, you pay for it in full in advance.
No. The airport is about 12 km south-west of the city centre. If you are going to the city itself, book our transfer between Prague and Frankfurt instead.
Yes. All our drivers speak English as well as their native Czech, and some speak other languages too. They are happy to talk about local culture, share tips on places of interest and answer your questions.
Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.
Yes to both. Baby seats are required by law, and for your baby’s safety we provide them free of charge.
The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
