A Trade Fair City with Baroque Gardens
Hanover is the capital of Lower Saxony in northern Germany, on the River Leine. It is best known for its trade fairs, held on one of the largest exhibition grounds in the world, and for the Herrenhausen Gardens, whose Great Garden is one of the finest baroque gardens in Europe. From 1714 to 1837 the rulers of Hanover were also kings of Great Britain.
In the centre, the New Town Hall has a lift that climbs on a curve up into its dome, and the Maschsee lake nearby is popular for walks and boating. A red line painted on the pavement, the Red Thread, leads you past the main sights. Coming for a trade fair? Stopover Tip
Dresden, with its rebuilt Frauenkirche and baroque old town, is right on the way from Prague, and so is Leipzig. Add a stop and your driver waits while you look around.

Waiting Charge
If the driver waits for you or you book a multi-stop transfer, for example while you visit one city before continuing to another, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
Minivan Special Offer
Many airport taxis take only three passengers and may not fit large bags in a sedan. We take groups of up to four passengers with their luggage in a larger vehicle at a special price: choose “Minivan” (4 seats) when you book online. The offer does not apply to groups of five or more, who travel by minibus at the standard price.
FAQs: Transfers Between Prague and Hanover
From Prague Centre it is about 515 km, which usually takes around 5 hours 45 minutes. From Prague Airport it is about 505 km and around 5½ hours. Rush hour in Prague can add some time.
Yes. We drive to any address in Hanover, including your hotel and the exhibition grounds. If you carry boxes or display materials, choose a larger vehicle, such as a minivan, when you book.
Yes. We drive between Prague and Hanover in both directions. If your transfer does not start in Prague, you must pay for it in full in advance.
Yes. All our drivers speak English as well as their native Czech, and some speak other languages too. They are happy to talk about local culture, share tips on places of interest and answer your questions.
Yes. Short stops along the way are free. If you stop for longer, a waiting charge is added to your fare.
For a group of three to six passengers on a longer trip, with plenty of luggage, we recommend our minivan. For up to two passengers with large bags, or three with medium-sized bags, a sedan is the better choice and gives you a more comfortable ride. Not sure? Let us know in advance and we will send a roomier minivan instead of the sedan, for the sedan price.
Yes to both. Baby seats are required by law, and for your baby’s safety we provide them free of charge.
The price we quote is final: there are no extra fees for our services or for short stops. Waiting charges for optional longer stops are not included. You will have no surprises or additional fees.
